I started my career in insurance as a captive agent, meaning I was only able to offer one company’s products. I quickly realized that insurance and financial consulting is not “one size fits all” and being captive was not for me.

I try to remember how confusing insurance was before I got in this business, so I am constantly evaluating better ways to convey how insurance products really work. Recommendations should make sense to you and your family and be based on your goals and budget.

I am affiliated with a wide array of different carriers allowing me the freedom to tailor individual plans to each family’s specific needs and objectives and to provide a full package of protection. A full package of protection should help you manage risk as well as keep more of your hard-earned dollars.

My philosophy for life can be summed up with two thoughts:

I married my high-school sweetheart, Don, and we have 3 fabulous sons and one beautiful daughter, 7 grandchildren and a great grandson. Family has always been important to us. All of our children are grown and live in the DFW area. Now that our children are grown, we have fur babies, Rocky, a Miniature Poodle, Lucy is a Poodle, Australian Shepherd mix, and Sophie is a Maltipoo. I stay active by taking our fur babies for morning walks and by riding my bicycle around the neighborhood.
